On Sunday the 7th March, Sharklady Adventures was chosen to host the Super 14 New Zealand Highlanders rugby team for their Shark Tour.
The Highlanders had played the Stormers on Saturday the 6th March at Newlands, and opened the first and second half for the first 10 minutes with a dominating performance of territory and possession, they looked like a composed and confident team due to the efficiency of their ball handling and follow through phases, however due to the impressive defence of the Stormers, they were unable to score, and Stormers came away with a 33 – 0 win.
So on Sunday, the Highlanders took a break and joined Sharklady Adventures to relax before their trip to Pretoria where they will play the previous years Super14 Winners, the Bulls, which will be played on Saturday the 13th March at Loftus Versfeld.
They were delighted with their Shark Tour, as it was an exceptional day due to excellent visibility, and they viewed 4 and 5 metre White Sharks.
